Neon Fluff

I've been harbouring a micro obsession with fluffy knits in eye-sizzling shades since I first laid eyes on ACNE's highlighter yellow angora-blend Rakel sweater and Kit beanie, but didn't manage to get funds together before they'd sold out.

So when I was attacking the shops in Shanghai recently, this super hot-pink H&M number drew me like a moth to a flame.

It's 70 percent mohair, luxuriously thick and soft, and feels a bit like wearing something knitted from the Easter Bunny.

It's also the brightest thing I may ever own, and needs to be restrained by muted blacks (fortuitous, as I have a wardrobe full!) and perhaps some chunky silver hardware.

All My Heart

Kate Sylvester has been one of our best kept secrets for many years now, and her collections never fail to please.

A clever mix of playful, ladylike, delicate and fresh - think satin gowns with ballet flats, classic little cardigans with frothy lace frocks, pale Chanel-esque tweed jackets with laser-cut leather skirts.

These are my picks of the sweet summer collection 'All My Heart'. Check out the video too, très lovely.

Fantastique

Karen Walker never fails to set the bar with her eyewear, and the new super limited edition Fantastique collection is no exception, cut from opulent gold or black filigree in a selection of striking shapes.

I'm particularly drawn to the oversized round black pair, but seems a shame to be shy, so perhaps the gold is where the glamour's at...

Lust But Don't Touch

Isabel Marant Primo leopard-print fur jacket. Isabel Marant Abadi leather cocoon coat.

Amazing. AMAZING. Breathtakingly expensive. Potentially unethical. Lust but don't touch. That is all.

Pretty Kitty

Meow! I am unashamedly all about the leopard print, so this cute silver band by Meadowlark in collaboration with Superette is my idea of a cool jewel.

Momo Marant

I am now the rather delighted owner of what some in the business might call a trophy jacket.

Meet Momo, by Etoile Isabel Marant. It's definitely one of the more decorative jackets I've owned, but admittedly my tastes could be branded somewhat on the staid side, so the slim shoulder pads, kaleidoscope of jewel colours and shots of metallic thread are all pretty fancy in my books. So just a small trophy then. Third place in table tennis.

I love how simple the cut is, snug and tailored, collarless, classic but with just a touch of stretch to ensure it's comfortable, sitting somewhere between cardigan and blazer. The perfect piece to add a touch of magic to anything from jeans and a tee (my usual) to something more grown-up.

Prints Charming

Oh, pretty pretty pretty!

Meet the love children of classic American cool kids J.Crew and heritage brand Liberty London.

They've taken the legendary 'Perfect Shirt' - deliciously soft washed cotton in a borrowed-from-the boys cut - and drenched it in a selection of carefully selected florals. Dreamy.

See them all here.

All Day I Dream About Sandro

AW12 look books are dropping, which works for me as I've just been plunged into the middle of winter (where, in true mixed-up fashion style, summer look books are dropping), and Sandro's has really struck a cord with me.

Strips of leather, flashes of satin and pops of fur set against a backdrop of clean-cut classic-cool shapes.

Pieces you can wear anywhere and feel totally pulled together, and warm.

It's also hard to look past how perfect that hair is either. Well jealous.

Little China Girl

And I'm back.

Resting up in my sunny hometown for a few days after two months of hectic travel.

France, Turkey, Russia, China. The above shoot is from Elle China's August issue, so beautiful...

I need, in no particular order, a hair cut, a serious conditioning treatment, a pedicure, a massage, a lavender-scented bath, winter woollies, some large handfuls of vitamins and a whole lot more sleep.
